Masterclass: Listening and Arguing – Tobias Deacon

Employing techniques to open our ears and sharpen our tongues to Shakespeare’s dialogue. Starting with group work to establish the world of the play – how the words attune our senses to the story and the people in it – followed by working in pairs on some of the tastiest arguments in the play.

“Lips, let sour words go by and language end.
What is amiss plague and infection mend!
Graves only be men’s works and death their gain!
Sun, hide thy beams! Timon hath done his reign.”
